A spring in their step

Once again our Mentone Girls have achieved some phenomenal results in Aerobics competition. At the recent Spring Challenge, the School submitted 13 teams, our largest number ever! All of the girls performed outstandingly, with many performing in more than one section. The results across the Primary and Secondary Sections of the competition are detailed below.

A special mention must go to the Shooting Stars (Year 6) who came first out of 23 teams in the Primary Stage One section of the competition. Success also continued for Schoolaerobics National Champions the Hot Rockers who came first place in the Secondary Open B section.

6th Place Primary Stage One - Atomic Angels (Out of 23 teams!) (Years 5 and 6)

1st Place Secondary Dance Theatrical - Junior Hot Rockers Dance (Years 6, 8 and 9)

2nd Place Secondary Open B - Team Hero (Years 10, 11 and 12)

2nd Place Secondary Stage One - Team Scream (Years 7 and 8)

4th Place Secondary Dance Theatrical - Junior Grease (by only 0.4 of a point, and their first time in the section!) (Year 9)

4th Place Secondary Aerobics - Team Scream 2 (Years 7 and 8)

5th Place Secondary Stage One - Team Shout (Years 8 and 9)
