Congratulations VCE Class of 2008!

Mentone Girls have once again performed at the highest level achieving a 100% pass rate in the 2008 VCE exams.

Strong academic performance has earned Mentone Girls' Grammar School its reputation as one of Melbourne's leading schools. Every year our students feature among the State's top students and 2008 has been no different. As you can see from the results below, the Year 12 Class has once again produced exceptional results. 

• DUX of 2008 achieved an ENTER of 99.55
• 6% of the Class ranked in the top 1% of the State with ENTERs of 99+
• 19% of the Class ranked in the top 5% of the State with ENTERs of 95+
• 35% of the Class ranked in the top 10% of the State with ENTERs of 90+
• 60% of the Class ranked in the top 20% of the State with ENTERs of 80+
  

These results are a reflection of the hard work put in by the students, their teachers and their parents over many years. As a community we are particularly proud of those students who attained their personal best, as these worthy achievements are not always reflected in an ENTER score.

The mission of our School is preparing our students to aspire to excellence, to make a difference and to rise boldly to the challenges of their times. We can say with confidence that our Year 12 students have certainly risen to the challenge and achieved excellence in their academic studies. It is with an immense sense of pride that we watch them take the next steps in their journey and we know they will rise boldly to meet the challenges before them and continue to make a difference to the lives of those around them.
