'Reddy' Made Community Connections
With a shared passion for both the community and the colour red, Mentone Girls' Grammar School and Hocking Stuart have a Community Connection that was meant to be.
The Hocking Stuart BSM Community Connection partnership with Mentone Girls' Grammar School has been in place for several years. The School has utilised funds generated from the program for several worthwhile purposes including school musicals, scholarship programs and the School's master plan building fund.
When a vendor with links to the School - Alan Frees - needed someone to sell his home, he approached Stephen Tickell with a request to double our donation if we achieved a higher than expected sale price for the property.
Steve agreed and after working hard to achieve an exceptional sale price for Alan's home, he followed through with a donation of $1000 to Mentone Girls' Grammar School.
Principal Fran Reddan accepted the cheque from Stephen and the newly appointed branch manager of the Hocking Stuart Mentone Office - Simon Wendt.
