I heartily agree with NEiTA's Chairman, Terry O'Connell, who said that next to a parent, teachers have the most influence in a young person's life and that when a teacher engages a student with enthusiasm, skill, and passion, magic can happen in the mind of that student.

"This is something I believe in wholeheartedly and certainly something that Pat and our teaching staff as a whole strive for every day. I thank Pat, and all of our staff, both teaching and non-teaching who work so hard to make our School the special place it is today," said Principal Reddan.

Pat Kenny said that he was humbled by the nomination.

"I am fortunate to be part of a strong team of inspirational teachers, all of whom work incredibly hard to make a positive difference to the education and personal development of our students. This nomination is for all of them."
