Top Graduate accepted into Dean's Scholars Program
Mentone Old Girl Rebecca Barber, has been accepted into the Dean's Scholars Program in the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University.
After deferring for a year to work and travel, Rebecca, who completed VCE in 2007, commenced her Bachelor of Commerce degree in March this year.
The Dean's Scholars program at Deakin provides financial assistance and additional support for a small number of high-achieving students. Scholars are assigned an academic mentor for the duration of their course and are encouraged to accelerate their study and prepare for honours work.
