Mentone Girls crowned Schoolaerobics National Champions
Our phenomenal success in Schoolaerobics continued last weekend when 6 of our teams competed in the Schoolaerobics National Championships, held in Adelaide.
Five of our teams finished in the top 3 with the other placing in the top 10! These are fantastic results and the entire School community is extremely proud of the achievements of these girls. It was only 8 years ago that Schoolaerobics was introduced at Mentone Girls' Grammar and we are certainly becoming leaders in the sport.
Congratulations to all the girls and in particular Ms Jess Hayes, our brilliant Head Coach, and her team of assistants, Ms Cassie McDonald, Ms Lizzie King and Ms Alyssa Naughton, for expertly preparing the teams for this competition. Their dedication and professionalism to the sport has been paramount in these achievements. As a community we also thank Mrs Pam Sherman and the families who accompanied the girls to Adelaide and were there to celebrate the successes of the competition. We truly appreciate your support and commitment all season.
