Reporting to the Deputy Principal/Head of Senior School, the Head of Year 10 is a member of the Wellbeing Team and works collaboratively with the Heads of School and Heads of Department to ensure an education plan that enables students to maximise their academic and personal development.
At the heart of this role will be a teacher who has a natural rapport with staff and students and has a deep understanding of the unique needs of students in their care. The Head of Year 10 will be well versed in fostering an environment of care and support, in the classroom and beyond.
Demonstrated pastoral care experience with senior years (or similar) role will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will have the preferred teaching method of Humanities, with the ability to teach to VCE level.
