Students in Years 6 - 12 showcased their latest business ventures at the Senior Enterprise market on Tuesday 13 June in our dynamic Enterprise Academy.

There were some incredible products on display – all skilfully designed, constructed and promoted by students currently participating in the Senior Enterprise program. Shoppers could choose from bath bombs, dog treats, cookies, cupcakes, teabags, necklaces, bunting signs, body scrubs and hair bows. Nikki Dulberg in Year 7 sold all her ‘slime’ products in under 3 minutes – a record time for the Enterprise Academy!

In the lead-up to market up day, students in Senior Enterprise have attended several workshops run through the Enterprise Academy, including ‘How to get your business online’, ‘How to build your business through social media’ and ‘Crowdfunding: how it works and how it can help you’.

Head of Careers and Enterprise, Ms Kelly Jedd, said: “As a School dedicated to interactive, experiential learning through the Enterprise Academy, we actively encourage our students to follow their passions and turn their valuable ideas into action.

“For their first major project of 2017, our Senior Enterprise groups have demonstrated amazing business skills, as well as creativity and commercial acumen. The stalls looked so professional and the attention to detail in all the products was outstanding. I am so impressed by their commitment to learning as much as possible about enterprise and am excited to see what their creative minds will conjure up next.”
