What a Difference WE Can Make
The Mentone Girls' Grammar School community has always had a strong culture of philanthropy and social responsibility.
The primary role of the Mentone Girls' Grammar School Foundation is to assist the School to plan for the future with confidence. Funds raised by the Foundation enable the School to implement new initiatives, develop high-quality facilities and deliver the programs and educational experience expected as part of a Mentone Girls' Grammar School education.
The financial support provided to the Foundation is distinct from that provided by school fees and government grants. These sources of funding cover only the essential running costs of the School, such as teacher salaries and professional development, and other re-occurring operating expenses.
There are a number of ways that you can support the Foundation and the School:
- Donating to Annual Giving.
- Donating to a number of tax deductible building, library or scholarship funds.
- Making a Bequest.
- Volunteering to be part of Council or the many Associations and Committees that actively work for the benefit of our School.
Alternatively we would be delighted to hear about any other creative ways in which you wish to make a difference.
