Our beautiful campus with tranquil gardens, contemporary classrooms and purpose-built facilities, is nestled amongst, quiet, tree-line suburban streets adjacent to a picturesque coastline. This setting provides a truly unique learning environment designed to inspire our students and provide a close-knit community.

Mentone Girls’ Grammar is divided into three distinctive school areas - ELC, Junior School and Senior School. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of different school years, and students have the added benefit of utilising the facilities throughout School.

Our contemporary, light-filled learning spaces feature modern technology to allow collaborative teaching and learning and offer a welcoming and exciting environment.

The Willow Tree located in the centre of campus brings together students from Junior and Senior School for relaxation, picnics and musical performances. Representing our School’s rich heritage, the tree symbolises that our roots run deep, with the sky being the limit – where the seeds of friendships are sewn and grown.

Junior School Library

The Janice Douglas Library is a cosy, welcoming space for students from Early Learning through to Year 6. It has a wide range of both fiction and non-fiction books to encourage our youngest students to enjoy the wonders of reading.

Senior School Library

The Kerferd Library is recognised as a leading Australian school library which supports our students from Years 5 through to 12. The Library houses fiction and non-fiction books, curriculum resources, research support and collaborative learning spaces.

Outdoor Sporting Fields

Our extensive outdoor sporting facilities include a large synthetic grass field which can be divided into three individual sports fields suitable for hockey, soccer and tennis, a 60m sprint track, long jump pit and three basketball/netball hard courts.

Aquatic Centre

Aquatic Centre

Our world-class Aquatic Centre houses two heated pools (25m and 15m), diving spring boards (1m and 3m) and has water polo and aqua cycle capabilities. The Centre is bright and spacious, includes stadium style seating for 150 people and a fully-equipped fitness gym.

Wellness Precinct

A space for your body, mind and soul, the Precinct is home to our indoor sports facilities, including; yoga and meditation area, basketball/netball court, gymnastics space, aerobics arena, as well as badminton and table tennis facilities.

Visual Arts Centre

Visual Arts Centre

A gallery foyer displaying student artwork welcomes you to the Simpson Visual Arts Centre. The spacious Centre includes several visual arts rooms, media design labs, visual communications hubs and is home to our food and nutrition kitchen.

Music Room - David Hunt

Performing Arts Centre

The David Hunt Music Centre features a concert room full of instruments, nine purpose-built lesson rooms and music labs. The space also includes a dance studio with full length mirrors and fixed ballet barres.

VCE Centre

The Cobbalana VCE Centre features gorgeous, calming views overlooking the bay, numerous quiet pods, study spaces, a communal lunch space with kitchen, and access to careers and enterprise support.

The Bay Café

Our on-site Café offers students a variety of hot and cold meals and snacks to fuel their body through the day. Students in Senior School are welcome to have their lunch in the Bay Café.

School facilities are often referred to as the ‘third parent’, as they help shape students minds, and recognise their talents and goals. We are blessed to have such great facilities, including the beach right at our door step.
