With the wide range of sporting opportunities available, students are encouraged to participate and strive to achieve their goals, whilst building positive relationships within the school community.
Game On
Junior School students in Years 3 to 6 are strongly encouraged to take part in competitive sport, with an emphasis on fostering sportsmanship and teamwork. Students in Years 5 and 6 can also represent the school in Girls' Sport Victoria (GSV) inter-school competitions against other independent schools. To further enrich their sporting experience, we offer additional opportunities such as a morning running club and surf lifesaving.
Champions in the making
Sport is highly valued at Mentone Girls’ Grammar, with students from Years 5 to 12 encouraged to participate in both competitive and non-competitive sports throughout the year.
In the Senior School, students have the opportunity to take part in Girls' Sport Victoria (GSV) competitions, where they can showcase their skills, develop teamwork, and represent the school across a wide range of sports at a high level.
