Mentone Girls' Grammar School is proud to be associated with Mentone Life Saving Club. Our Year 8 Foreshore program is conducted at the club’s premises as well as many of our school-wide beach activities.

GSV recognises the importance of school sport in developing positive attitudes towards women's health and a lifelong involvement in physical activity and sport.

The Invergowrie Foundation is a public charitable trust. The primary focus of the Foundation is to advance the education of the girls and women within Victoria. It is administered by a Board of Trustees, which is responsible for the assets and for the annual distribution of funds to promote and advance the goals of the Foundation. This honorary role is awarded to only 10 schools nationally who are identified by Club Kidpreneur as being entrepreneurial in both culture and leadership, and are particularly proactive in enterprise education. Club Kidpreneur is a not-for-profit social enterprise igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of Australian primary school students to equip them with innovation and knowledge capacity for the jobs of the future.
