We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Psychologist / Counsellor to join our dynamic Student Wellbeing Team from Term 1, 2026.

The Role

In this vital role, you’ll provide counselling and wellbeing support to students, working closely with staff and families to foster a safe, supportive and inclusive school environment. You’ll also contribute to the design and delivery of preventative wellbeing programs that help girls thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

  • Part time, (FTE 0.20 - 0.40)

About You

You are an empathetic and skilled professional who:

  •  Has experience supporting the wellbeing of young people
  • Understands the emotional development and unique needs of girls
  • Builds strong, trusting relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of others

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology (Educational & Developmental Psychology preferred) OR equivalent qualification in Counselling, Social Work or related field.
  • Full registration with AHPRA (Psychologist) or membership with an accredited body (ACA, AASW).
  • Minimum 3 years of counselling experience with young people, ideally within a school or educational context.
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing (for psychologists).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering mental health and wellbeing programs.
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check.
