Our ‘Learn to Swim’ program has been designed to progress your child through the levels of our program, which incorporates the four main strokes. Our focus is to concentrate on correct technique using a range of drills.
Learning Framework
Parent and Child Classes
Infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers up to the age of 4 require a parent/carer in the water. These classes include water familiarisation, confidence, and basic skill development using toys and songs to encourage a fun and happy atmosphere. Our instructors will give guidance and instruction on ways to hold your child whilst in the water. Children are introduced to floating, blowing bubbles, submersion, propulsion, kicking and include activities that will help them build on their swimming technique and survival skills.
Lessons run for 30 minutes.
