The start of your daughter's educational journey is an exciting time for families and we look forward to partnering with you as we support her journey into formal schooling.
Our ELC curriculum includes a unique blend of inquiry and play-based learning, based on the philosophies of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). We immerse our young learners in experiences which enable them to explore, question, collaborate, think critically, problem solve, communicate and discover new knowledge, all within a fun and supportive environment.
Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) is leading the way in early years education for girls, and has been awarded the highest possible rating of ‘Exceeding National Quality Standards’ in the National ELC Frameworks Accreditation. We offer the flexibility of three, four or five day options for both our three and four year old programs.
Days are structured through indoor and outdoor play with a range of natural and made materials available so the girls can imagine, explore and experiment. Students also participate in a diverse range of co-curricular activities including ballet, music, movement, library and technology programs, all of which play a part in both cognitive and physical development, as well as building emotional and social skills. Our unique beachfront location also enables us to utilise our ‘classroom on the beach’ which provides a wonderful learning environment for our students across the ELC.
A significant part of the success of our ELC is the quality and passion of our dedicated staff. Our team of specialist early years’ teachers, who are also primary trained and therefore understand the needs of each student as they prepare for school, are supported by well-qualified co-educators.
