Art Technician

The School is looking for an Art Technician who will play an essential role in supporting our talented teachers and students as they create, experiment, and explore. From preparing materials to curating stunning displays and exhibitions, you’ll help transform our learning spaces into inspiring showcases of student creativity. This is a part time (FTE 0.80) role, commencing Term 1, 2026.

What You’ll Do

• Support the delivery of engaging and innovative Visual Arts programs
• Maintain and prepare materials, tools, and resources to keep our studios running smoothly
• Curate, frame, label, and hang artworks to professional standards across the School
• Assist with the setup of art lessons, exhibitions, and events
• Contribute to a positive, energetic, and creative team culture

What You’ll Bring

• A qualification in Fine Art or a related discipline
• At least 2 years’ experience in an Art Technician or similar creative support role
• A keen eye for detail and presentation, with hands-on experience in framing, hanging, and exhibition planning
• A genuine enthusiasm for supporting students and teachers
• A driver’s licence and the ability to assist with transporting artworks and materials
• A Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
