Applications are invited for the newly created key leadership position of Director of Marketing and Communications at Mentone Girls’ Grammar.

The position will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the School’s brand, marketing strategy and influence strategic campaigns and projects. This position will contribute to the delivery of best-practice and innovative marketing and communication strategies, and will work to ensure that the School’s promotional and positioning activities complement School objectives.

As Director of Marketing and Communications you will be an influential and visible leader, with the proven capacity to nurture key stakeholder relationships and will have an innate drive and curiosity to think outside the box and execute creative content that reflects our fresh attitude and approach to girls’ education.

This full-time role will suit a person who has tertiary qualifications in either Business, Marketing or Communications coupled with significant senior experience in leading Marketing and Communications functions and teams.  The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge introducing and embedding digital innovation within a complex stakeholder environment and demonstrated experience in implementing an external marketing and communications strategy.

At the heart of this role will be an outstanding leader who has a natural rapport with people and is accustomed to operating within a strategic and high achieving environment.  The appointee will be a strategic planner with a creative heart and an analytical mind who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, skill at balancing a varied workload, and the ability to bring together project groups and internal/external teams to deliver as a united front.

The successful candidate will be available to commence in June 2024.
