What is the scholarship process?

Parents apply for their daughter to sit the Scholarship exam. Upon receiving the results (usually two weeks after the exam) the Principal will shortlist candidates for an interview and award successful candidates. The Scholarship process is managed by the Enrolments Team.

How much does it cost to apply for a scholarship?

The registration fee is $120 per student.

What time and where should my daughter arrive for testing?

Please arrive at 8.20am via Gate D at 11 Mentone Parade, Mentone. Staff will be waiting to greet you and accompany your daughter to the testing area. Year 3 students are to be picked up at 12.15pm, all other students will be ready for pick at 12:30pm. 

Can my daughter apply for more than one scholarship?

Yes! Please register your daughter for any Scholarship award for which she might be eligible. There is no additional charge to apply for more than one Scholarship.

Your daughter must sit the examination to be eligible for any Scholarship award.

What does my daughter need to bring to testing?

Your daughter will need to bring morning tea and a water bottle.

Can my daughter apply for a scholarship without sitting the test?

No. Scholarships will only be awarded to those who participate in the examination process.

When will we know if we have been successful?

Usually in the third week after the examination, the School will be in contact with shortlisted candidates to schedule interviews with the Principal. We will also notify students who are not successful.
